My visit :
Wohoo I got a treat from a very good friend,, let say that was my happy lunch. I got a permit to go outside my work place in the middle of the day. That was really a rare occasion. I am not able to go out during working hours from 8am to 5 pm and need special permit to go out.

Personally the best pho I have ever tasted was PHO 2*** but it is not available in Tangerang area. Pho 24 is the only pho restaurant nearby so there is no other choice to enjoy pho here.
I must say the interior was really nice and comfortable to eat there in the middle of hot and sunny weather.

For appetizer, we ordered fresh spring roll with shrimp. huft.. I got disappointed from the beginning :(.. the spring roll didn't come out like I expected. The spring roll skin were too tough to eat.. need extra effort to bite and pretty much I could hear my jaws moving and gave extra work to chew T_T... and the color of the outer look wasn't red like the one in the menu. I couldn't find the shrimp! T_T whyyy phoo 24.. whyyyy

those are the pics of my pale and tough spring roll :(

Okay, lets continue to main course.. the PHO.. jreng jreeenng
I bought Pho Tai Chin and my friend got Pho all
Pho Tai Cin means : pho noodles with beef meat only.. and for pho all means : all beef meat, soft tendon and meat ball.. I only eat meat and dislike tendon and meat ball., so that's why I didn't choose PHo all.
Too bad the pho broth was too plain for me. I added the sauce and others but still couldn't get the taste that I want. Actually it is healthy for us to eat less savory food.. less salt for our body and maybe less of MSG :p .. yeah but it is all about taste right? maybe I just like it savory...
Pho all, for 52k before tax
including meat, tendon and meatball

Pho Tai Cin 47k
The broth are all the same for all pho, the toppings make it different
for companion, they also gave us lime, chopped green chili, fresh bean sprout, chopped onion, and green vegetables. Also you can add the special vietnamese sauce into your pho to make it more rich in flavour.. hehehe. In your table they also served you salt and chili sauce.
I can say the meat was tender and I like it :D

After appetizer and main course, here comes the dessert!
What a great lunch it was ^_^

bye bye hot air for a while,, and here comes the breeze.. hehehe
as you can see here, it was dominated by jelly. the fruit they were using was peach and lychee. (I believe from a can)
the taste was refreshing from the lime and the shaved ice.. arghh it was good.. and I think I need to eat something like this more often. It gave me a comfortable feeling for the brain and my body.. more full of spirit to do activities..

Thx u for my friends who gave me companion during lunch break and esp. the one who gave me treat.

My visit :
I can say that eating at this restaurant is pretty much a ritual when I sleep over at my best friend home named MIMI.
Her mom and her eat at this restaurant daily for brunch and getting close with the owner because her mom like to invite them for karaoke nite on Saturday at their house and they are coming from the same region , Medan.
I ate their dish for the first time when I was 18 years old and continue to fall in love with their dishes until know. I can say all are my favorite.. ahahha.. but the main dish that I like the most is the duck vermicelli.. and the second one is fried flat noodles with content (complete).

I skip my breakfast almost all the time when I pay a visit due to the laziness level of my bestie.. ahhaha.. and we always eat brunch here. Because of that, I usually eat 2 portions at one time... *blushed for embarrassment*  the duck vermicelli and fried flat noodles... no regret at all after eating those two.. :p

And her mom is already familiar with my food portion after years.. I Love you auntie.. thank you for feeding me and for letting me stay at your house .. <3 <3 <3

The taste :
 presenting my favorite duck vermicelli
the soup using goji seed.. so it tasted a little bit sweet, sour and savory

the fried pork oil.. so yum yum yummyyy
the chili with vinegar to complete the dishes

fried flat vermicelli plain (only with egg and caisim)

the complete fried flat noodles with pork meat, pork sausage (lapciong.. sweet and savory like heaven), prawn, fish meatball, duck egg, etc.. very very mouth watering..

super spicy tomato noodle with pork meat, fish meatball, prawn, pork sausage, duck egg, bean sprout, green veggies, and fried onion.

My visit :
On Sunday me and family decided to visit our newly wed relatives at Simprug Poris, prior to our visit, we were very hungry and the looking for NASI CAMPUR BABI (pork rice).
Unfortunately my brother forgot the real place and we were entering the wrong place.
We only saw that the place was full of people so pretty much the correct place.

Fortunately the unfortunate event changed into a great eating experience. We enjoy the noodles, fried flat noodles, fish meatball, fried wanton, etc. All were really delicious! The meat was chopped in big size, the amount of the meat was plenty, almost tasted like heaven .. LOL :p

My tongue was feeling the satisfaction and going through my tummy and my brain. I really want to pay another visit in the future.
The shocking (in the good way) thing happened when we pay for our meals, we asked for the price per portion and they said it's only IDR 13.000 ! WOW really cheap .. if you eat in other places I can say you must pay for minimum 18k per portion and with less meat..

My Dinner companion :
My Whole family ^_^

Family is not an important thing. It's everything.

Waiting for my future visit to Bakmi Medan 168 A Ek/ Eddy with my family and or future soul mate..hahaha

My Visit and companion :
I came at 8.15pm on Friday , October 9, 2015 along with my 3 friends ( Mimi, Siska MQ and Andrie).
That day I spent a night at Mimi's home (the interior designer- we went to the same univ and took the same subject) together with MQ ( mimi's high school bestie and becoming mine also), this was unplanned. I just called her that day at noon and told her that I will spend a night at her home. Pretty much because I need someone to talk to and refresh my mind.
Andrie's (went to the same school with mimi and mq but I went to the same univ with him, he introduced me to my 1st crush at univ back then :p) home is near the area so I also contacted him to meet up and chat. We shared our silly stories about the past and also talking about future plans. By the way, he is a music teacher at one of international school in Jakarta and Serpong branch. He can plays the guitar and ukulele. cool huh?!

We talked at exelso until 10.45 pm and moved to Mc'Donalds untill 12.00am +
Thanks for their companion.. My Friday became real good!

 - Siska MQ- Andrie - Mimi-
Forgive the silly expressions and ready to sleep outfit.. ahhaha

So happy to have them in my life, the one who can make you laugh in no time!

Servings :
Japanese : no side dish, free miso soup
Korean   : I got side dishes on my first visit but didn't get it on my second visit (this visit)

Menu :

Korean    : bibimbab, doep bab, skiyaki, hot pot, jap chae, syamgaetang, ji gae, bulgogi, gal bi, etc

Drinks : free cold ocha (refillable), orange juice, etc

My visit :
that was my second visit to Dae Ga. On my second visit, I ate with my friends Eros ( the programmer) and Oswin ( the owner of culinary website). We have one thing in common : we like to eat and that's why we were there together to chit chat and trying new dishes at Dae Ga.
This time I need to thanks pergikuliner for the treat again.. Thanks for the time and also great conversation.. I laughed like there will be no tomorrow.. pretty much like always.. hahahaha..

Okay, back to the topic about food, we ordered based on what I want to order.. Woman privileges huh?
I chose moe deum sushi (14pcs per portion) for the Japanese menu and after that I also ordered boe soet bul gogi jgol (small for 3-4 persons).

Moe deum sushi :

at the first time it arrived, the fish meat got some black spot and we asked for the new one,as soon as possible, the waitress showed it to the kitchen and they gave us the new one in the blink of an eye.

The meat were raw but no smelly smell at all, the taste was pretty good but not too refreshing in my mouth. But still good rather than other sushi places around the area. When I gave a bite of it, I could feel the wasabi behind the meat, kind of surprising in the beginning but fine till the end.

My friend Oswin who lived in Japan for 7 years back then, taught me how to eat sushi in the right way.
for the first step, all I needed to do was turn the sushi down so the meat will face me and take it with my chop sticks and dipped it into soy sauce and wasabi they served. So I have been eating sushi in the wrong way all my life..  >_<

Oh,, for the sushi, each person got a bowl of miso soup for free. The miso soup was nice with a lot of seaweed and firm tofu

Boe soet bul go gi jgol :

so this is the pic of the boe soet bulgogi jgol in the beginning, the waitress put the pan full of mushrooms and green vegetables on the stove on our table to heat up the broth
I put the meat inside the pan and the meat changed color and texture

the taste of the dish was actually great, the meat was sweet and tender also easy to chew, the mushrooms and vegetables were fresh, crunchy and in great shape. We didn't boil it too long so the color still nice and the nutrition still there (people say it all the time not to over cooked vegetables so it will not lose its nutrition). Beside the good side, this dish also had bad side for me. I couldn't take the spiciness, as you can see in the pictures, red chilies were all over the dish, the broth became spicy even I didn't bite the chopped chilies. After couple bites, I drank a lot of ocha to calm my self o_O
But I like the dish.. maybe I can make it at home in the future ^_^

overall I can say the Korean food is better than the Japanese food, maybe because the owner is a Korean so the Korean food are more authentic and delicious.

My Companion :

Like I told you above, I went there with my two friends who love to chit chat like me, so it was a great time where we shared our stories about food, family, job, etc. I laughed a lot and so happy .. thx u for the great time! Can't wait for the next meeting with you guys to chit chat and eat good food.

Our selfie : yeayy... - Me, Eros, Oswin-

We finally asked the waiter to took a picture of us.
As you can see, my friend Oswin has the style huh.. like Mr. Bob Sadino (RIP) 's style.. So let us call him " The Incarnation of Uncle Bob" :p

* He will get "angry" with me every time I say it and will call me Mariska instead of Marisa as a revenge T_T

Cute Croissant Taiyaki - CROYAKI

CROYAKI

yes, the name is croyaki which means croissant taiyaki.
Have you ever imagine when the delicious croissant married taiyaki? hohoho..
then you will get a square with fish shaped in the middle -croissant with different filling inside based on your choice.

Some are sweet fillings, and some savory fillings with meat. Some are served cold and some are served hot.
Which one you prefer to eat? cannot decide? then maybe you can buy both .. hehehe..

Address :
Summarecon Mall Serpong 1
Inside the farmers market area (mini food stall)
Gading Serpong, Tangerang

instagram : croyaki.indonesia

Operational hours : based on mall operational hours (10.00am- 10.00pm)

Dress code : anything that you wear to the mall :D

Menu :
Croyaki with different fillings :
custard, chocolate, king of fruit, sausage, apple pie, pizza, hot dog, etc

Price :
around 20k +

My visit :
I visited this food stall on weekdays, to be exact, few minutes before the mall closed for public.
Me and my 2 friends (Eren and Gary - junior high school friends) didn't have intention in the 1st place to buy this croyaki. At first we only wanted to accompany Gary to buy drinks inside farmers after watching a movie titled Sicario.
But, when we passed by the stall, the stall was still open and I decided to bought one custard croyaki, the fastest one to be served before closing time. The price of the custard croyaki was IDR 20k. I paid the croyaki in the special cashier, so the croyaki's waiter didn't need to touch the food and money at the same time. Pretty much hygienic right?

Because I chose the cold fillings, the waiter didn't need to make a new croyaki, if he made it fresh, it would be hot and destroy the cold filling inside. So, he took the cold croyaki from the show case and inject it with the custard.

Some my friends said the croyaki tasted great but at that time me and my friends didn't agree with that opinion. Sorry to say the croyaki was a little difficult to chew :( but the custard filling was okay with the taste of rum and vanilla in dominant.

Maybe for my next visit, I need to try the hot one with savory fillings.. After that I can make an obsolete conclusion about the taste : is it worth to buy again?

 My Companion :
oops, we didn't take any picture together :(
but you can see the faces on my future stories or check it out on my instagram for previous pictures @caca_ietcha
