My story :

Last weekend, I went to this Arabian restaurant with my foodies friends.
Actually the main idea was to have lunch at ShopHaus menteng but I decided to propose Al-Jazeera Signature.

I saw the images on the internet and I really wanted to go here.
The interior looks so nice and comfy, and also the theme was different from other restaurant that I had visited ( same Arabian restaurant but the interior is not this fancy :D )

when we arrived in the dining area, we decided to seat in the square table seating. The reason was I wore a dress and I would find difficulties sitting in non table area. The half circle seating area also didn't fit for us (originally 8 of us but ended up 6)

That afternoon, I ordered Ruz Briyani Chicken , Arabian Pizza, Shawarma Musyakkal in plate and Adeni Tea

1. Ruz briyani Chicken Regular for 96 K

There are 2 sizes available, the small and regular
To be honest I think the regular size was not too big and I can eat it all by myself without feeling guilty
The spices were not too strong, The chicken itself was tasteless but tender.
I was expecting something with more spices actually :(
But somehow still okay for my tongue but not more than that
I had tried this kind of food nearby my neighborhood, the place was smaller but the food was nicer tho, the flavor was stronger for each dish

2. Arabian Pizza for 58K
This Arabian pizza looked so tempting and big in the menu.
Sadly, sometimes picture is not always showing you exactly what you get :(
it was more like a pizza bread , the dough was too thick , the size was like a regular pizza bread.

note : this is why I rarely edit my pictures in this blog, all pictures here are original without lighting edit or else

3. Shawarma Musyakkal by plate 84K

So basically this menu only using chicken meat different from other middle east food that using lamb as their main meat. (Well I am not into lamb meat that is why all the food here are chicken :P )

this menu contained of chicken breast meat, french fries, falafel, and vegetables. For the prata bread, you eat it by tear the sheet.
The crunchiness, the tenderness and the freshness were all good but the taste didn't give me a good surprise

4. Adeni Tea
If you are about to looking at the menu and read the description, you will think about chai latte. The mixed of milk , tea and some herbs. I like milk tea and herbs!
But this one was a little bit different with regular chai latte that I know.
By smelling, I could smell the ginger and strong nutmeg (please correct me if I am wrong). I thought I didn't need to put some sugar for my tea because I want to have something less sugar, but I was wrong, the taste was better with sugar! Trust me.
Some of my friends said the taste was very strong and odd, but still okay for me. I even like it! <3
The price was also quite cheap 58k and you can share it with your friends or even drink about 7 glasses by your own :p

My companion :

Don't forget to take a self picture of wefie when you are here

My visit :
actually this place has been opened for more than 5 months.
I saw this place several times but didn't get a chance to try as soon as possible and to be honest I forgot about this place until my friends said they were going to this place while I was about to go to my elementary school birthday shower as a host.

On Sunday, October 25, 2015, my family and I were looking for something to eat as our dinner like usual. We were about to eat other food in the first place but then suddenly I remember this place that my friends were talking about and they said the chicken mandhi was great. So I was curious and proposed this place as our dinner place.

The place was nice, when I entered the restaurant, I can say the place is small but need and tidy also warm.
The owner and the waitress greet us with their warm smile and escort us to our table.
When I looked at the menu, I can say the price was quite high. When they say briyani rice it means only rice no meat at all. and if they say lamb/chicken mandi or briyani means including the rice.

For our visit we tried several menu. My mom and my sister in law ordered chicken shawarma it was like chicken wrap but more rich in spices. Ulalaaa I love spices..

My dad ordered chicken curry (yeah no rice). The chicken curry was also great. The chicken was so tender and I love the soup. I even ate my french fries with the soup! Oh it was great.. And don't forget to eat the curry with bread (is it prata? I don't know it was a little different with my prata for chicken marocco)

My Brother ordered Lamb Briyani. Oh the briyani was really tasty! It wasn't dry but it wasn't too moist either. The spices were WOWWWW.. The meat also easy to chew..

And for me, I ordered CHICKEN MAROCCO and sambosa !
Sambosa for the appetizer and chicken marocco for the main course. Actually I would love to have chicken mandhi but the mandhi was sold out and the briyani only 3 portion left ( my bro ordered it so I ordered something else).
The sambosa was crunchy outside but so mild inside with great curry spices. You will get 3 pcs per portion and you will ask for more!

For the best of the best.. I present you CHICKEN MAROCCO.. from all the menu that I have mentioned to you above.. my family agreed that mine was the best.. I even ate the chicken skin ! OMG! ( I dislike chicken skin but after such a very berry long time I ate it! because the spices were all over the chicken skin and it tasted so d*mn great! ) *screaminggg*

And for additional : It is very rare occasion for me to eat with my bare hands but that time was an exceptional.. I didn't use the fork or knife or spoon.. Arghh I found greatness in this middle east food.
I want it again ! You really need to try this restaurant...

You know you eat good food when you don't care the way you look while eating it and the only one matter is how to eat it all...
